How did I lose that sale?

When you lose a sale there is a chance you may done one of the four fatal sales
mistakes. We have all done it at one time or another. Occasionally we get
complacent and need to be aware of what we have done to lose a sale.

So today’s tip is different - it is what you might have done wrong to lose the
sale so that you are aware of the mistakes you might be making.

  1. You talked at your prospect – they want to hear about what you can do for them not how great you and your company are
  2. You didn't listen properly – you haven’t heard or qualified exactly what the client wanted so you put in a bid that didn’t fit their requirements
  3. You missed the buying signals – maybe just maybe when your prospect askedtwice about the price he was interested
  4. You didn't ask hard questions - you were frightened to ask the right questions and find out the real reason behind the purchase and ultimately the decision

Losing is not a great feeling so don’t make it habit!
